It sucks because: The stores are not only understaffed, but (in the eyes of the customer) it is not well maintained and thus stays dirty and disorganized for days at a time. The benefits for the employees are dishonest and unreliable, which is most likely the reason why the employees always seem miserable.

It's good because: Walmart makes nearly every aspect of life affordable, from toothpaste to home insurance. While maybe those two things may be of "cheaper" qualities, they are vital things in life that will still keep you (at a bare minimum) alive and qualified for certain jobs and insurance policies and what not.
